Questions about what it’s like to work together?
Here are some of the most common questions I get about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, contact me.
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant history and any questions you might have about the therapy process. There is no pressure to share everything right away. Moving at your own pace is important.
-
I commonly work with trauma, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship issues. I provide LGBQT+-affirming care. I also have many clients working through childhood experiences that continue to affect them in adulthood. I support many people who identify as neurodivergent, and have experienced feeling misunderstood.
-
I currently offer virtual therapy sessions for clients located in New York. Sessions are typically available Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Availability may vary depending on current openings.
-
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be responsible for session costs until your deductible is met. I verify insurance benefits before scheduling so you have a clearer understanding of costs upfront. If you have questions about coverage I am happy to answer.
-

-
Send me a message through the contact form. From there, I’ll follow up regarding availability, insurance verification and next steps for scheduling an initial appointment.
